National Bank of Kuwait S.A.K.P QFC Branch (hereinafter referred to as "NBK QFC") established its presence in the State of Qatar through the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) in October 2025. NBK QFC Branch is a branch of National Bank of Kuwait S.A.K.P, which is headquartered in the State of Kuwait and is Kuwait’s first indigenous bank and the Gulf region’s first shareholding company established in 1952.

NBK QFC is registered in the QFC with registration number (QFC Number) 04021. NBK QFC Branch is a regulated entity under the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA). NBK QFC Branch has been authorized to undertake the following regulated activities by the QFCRA:

Advising on Investments and Arranging Deals in Investments: 

• Shares
• Units in a Collective Investment Fund 

Arranging Credit Facilities:

Corporate Banking Arranging Services
NBK QFC Branch can support corporate businesses (classified as ‘business customers’) based in Qatar and currently offers the activity of Arranging Credit Facilities across other NBK Group locations.

Private Banking Arranging and Advising Services to Individual Customers that Qualify as Business Customers
NBK QFC Branch can support qualifying individuals that opt -up to business customers and meet the qualification criteria outlined by the QFCRA with the following activities:

• Arranging Credit Facilities
• Arranging Deals on Investments
• Advising on Investments
