With Mastercard Travel Pass, you can sign up using your eligible NBK Mastercard Card and access up to 1,200 lounges in over 135 countries around the world.
Who is it for?
Mastercard Travel Pass app is available for eligible NBK Mastercard Credit or Prepaid Cardholders.
NBK Platinum Mastercard Credit and Prepaid Cards
As an NBK Platinum Mastercard Credit or Prepaid Cardholder, you will be eligible for 6 lounge visits or dining offers when you make an international transaction of at least USD 1 (or equivalent in another currency) every 3 calendar months, online or in-store.
Once the required spending amount is met, lounge access will be enabled for the next three months.
Complimentary lounge access will be reinstated within 72 hours of the USD 1 transaction.
NBK World Mastercard Credit Card
As an NBK World Mastercard Credit Cardholder, you will be eligible for 12 lounge visits or dining offers when you make an international transaction of at least USD 1 (or equivalent in another currency) every 3 months, online or in-store.
Once the required spending amount is met, lounge access will be enabled for the next three calendar months.
Complimentary lounge access will be reinstated within 72 hours of the USD 1 transaction.
NBK World Elite Mastercard Credit Card
As an NBK World Elite Mastercard Credit Cardholder, you will be eligible for unlimited lounge visits when you make an international transaction of at least USD 1 (or equivalent in another currency) every 3 months, online or in-store.
Once the required spending amount is met, lounge access will be enabled for the next three months.
Complimentary lounge access will be reinstated within 72 hours of the USD 1 transaction.
How Do I Get It?
You can access airport benefits with your eligible NBK Mastercard Credit or Prepaid Card through the Mastercard Travel Pass app.
How Do I Sign Up?
To enable your complimentary lounge access:
- Download the Mastercard Travel Pass app through the App Store or Google Play
- Register your NBK Mastercard Credit or Prepaid Card to view the eligible lounges
- You will be able to view the list of lounges and if you are eligible for complimentary access
- Present the QR code or membership number to the lounge receptionist
- If the app is already downloaded, then you will only need to confirm enrollment by re-entering your card number
Fees And Charges
If you do not make a minimum international transaction of USD 1 per quarter on your card, fees will apply to access the lounge.

When does the new requirement take effect?
Starting 1 April 2025, you will need to log into the Mastercard Travel Pass app and re-enter your card details if you already have an account. If you do not have an existing account, you will need to register.

Do I need to make a minimum USD 1 transaction before 1 April 2025?
Yes, any international transaction of at least USD 1 or its equivalent in local currency made between 1 January to 31 March, 2025 will give you complimentary airport lounge access for 3 months from the date of the transaction.
